A professional Home Study is required before a family can adopt a child anywhere in the U.S. or internationally. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, my Home Study Reports satisfy the legal requirements of the State of Florida, interstate adoptions, non-profit adoption agencies, the Immigration and Naturalization Services and most countries for international adoption. All of my Home Studies conducted in several counties in Florida have received court approval.

Our goal is to make the Home Study a positive experience and support you in becoming adoptive parents. We offer resource materials, pre/post placement adoption counseling & personal support.

My dear wife, Lynn & I would discretely meet in your home for two 3 hour visits. We will ask you to share information about your marriage, family of origin, employment, education, finances, values, lifestyle, parenting ideas, and feelings about adoption. You will need to complete some questionnaires, provide specific documents or identification, & allow us to view your child’s new home.

After receiving clearance from the FDLE and DCF background checks including fingerprints, 3 notarized copies of an 8-10 page report are sent to the necessary agencies facilitating adoption.
